New User - Server is always down

Welcome Dave. When the server is up you will see the shoutcast page on 'Server Administration'. It says Server is down on that page when you need to connect to it. Once a connection is made form your encoder to the server it will display your radio station details. It sounds like you need to...

    Comparison

1000 Listener hours at 128 kbps would use up just under 60 GB of bandwidth. We sell 120 GB for £40 so £40's worth will last you for 2 months. We don't cover any internet radio licence's so that would be down to you. You could give it a go and buy 10 GB for £5 and have a play see how you get on.

    url

Great you got it sorted. We used to use <username>.internet-radio.org.uk for hostnames but discontinued that. All old subdomains still point to the correct ip so it should have worked but never mind as doing it by IP is just as valid.

    Radio Directory Updates

Some of you noticed our slight CSS mishap last night on the front page. This is now fixed and has all happened because of some new improvements we have been making to the directory. One of the main behind the scene back-end upgrades that have been made is to move to a pure MySQL database for...

    Directory Problem

Ahh well spotted. We have been updating the directory and adding pagination. Obviously IE7 doesn't like our new css. Thanks for pointing this out. We will fix and make a post in the news section explaining a bit more about the changes.
