    Help on going LIVE

Glad you got Edcast working Storm. Edcast is an excellent free encoder. Regarding the drop out of listeners when switching from Auto DJ : Firstly make sure you use the 'Deactivate Source' option to turn off your auto DJ (rather than restarting the server or changing the configuration to...

Configuring the 'Shoutcast Source DSP' plugin for Winamp

Hi Storm, I think the issue is related to you having an icecast server. This encoder only works with shoutcast servers. (see the other forum post here)

    SHOUTcast Radio Directory

Hi RandomCheddar (great name btw :) ). Good question. The shoutcast radio directory can be flaky at best. They do seem a bit better these days but you could expect to wait for a week or two. It also depends on how long you stream for. If your server is streaming for longer then this can help...

Post a picture of your setup.

Traktor DJ Studio does have a built in encoder but it only supports Ogg Vorbis and not MP3. That is why you would use a separate encoder (Nicecast) to stream the audio to your server in MP3.

    Total Novice

There is a post about licenses in the FAQ : FAQ - Internet Radio Forum Starting from scratch a recommended server would be a Shoutcast server with 128 kbps (near cd quality) and 100 listeners. We can increase the listener count if you require at a later date for no extra cost. As our servers...

    Hourly Stats

Correction : Ive just been digging about and its the total unique listeners per reporting period. So for example 1 listener connects then disconnects and another connects afterwards would be counted as 2 listeners.

Google Maps accuracy now at city level.

Understanding the Pay As You Go prices.

We offer a 'Pay As You Go' payment system which is much like topping up a mobile phone. This provides the freedom of not having to pay a monthly subscription fee. You essentially buy bandwidth only as and when you need it, this bandwidth will then roll over each month to use. This payment plan...
