We have moved your post into a separate thread as it is a different issue than what you posted under. We need some more information to help you. When you disconnect does the control panel show disconnected after you refresh the page ? What error do you get when you try and connect again ?

The web player could be the problem. Do you still have the same problem when you make the change but are tune in from the standalone players (like winamp / vlc / itunes etc...) ? We are replacing all the web players soon with a much better one.

Hi Obsidian This is most likely related to you both having slightly differing stream settings. Make sure you are both streaming at the same bitrate / samplerate / channels (and of course codec, i.e. mp3). Let us know how you get on.

You can try but there is no authentication method on the servers to restrict listeners. The usual model is to request donations from your listeners.
