Hi Mike. If some stations are using the 'AutoDJ' feature this will display the artist / track titles in VLC. Also some 'live' stream encoders (such as VirtualDJ for example) will also display this information when mixing with audio files such as Mp3. However, some DJ's could be mixing live on...

We presume that music taken from a CD and encoded into Mp3 for internet radio playback would still be covered by a license. However, we cannot clarify that this information is fully correct. We suggest that if you are UK based you should contact the PPL UK for confirmation on this. 8)
