    [icecast] mountpoint problem

Its difficult to say for sure but looking at your log file it appears you may be connecting with a mount point of / when you should be specifying /somemountpoint The icecast config looks ok. Your problem seems like something to do with your source config.

Mac - Nicecast - newbie questions - where do your servers come in?

I don't have a Mac or Nicecast at hand at this moment, but I'm pretty sure Nicecast only streams in Mp3 anyway and does not support Mp3pro. We have no idea what 'InWorldz' is we are afraid? Are you using your own streaming server away from this to connect the stream to their service...

Mac - Nicecast - newbie questions - where do your servers come in?

Hi Ravendark, Mp3pro is slightly different to standard Mp3 in that in it uses some additional compression for better quality at lower bitrates. To be honest, its not something that you come across that often in use, well we have not anyway! So its likely just a non-compatible format in this...

    Invoices for Bandwidth

Not at present we are afraid. But this is something that we plan to implement in the future. Your control panel also displays the last 5 payments that you made including the transaction ID's. For now though, just drop us an email and we can supply these to you as invoices.

I want to make my station go live in the internet

Thanks for the input. That's a good approach to it, especially with using any sound processing and limiting. :nerd::yes:

I want to make my station go live in the internet

Hi Kesh, Welcome to the forums. You can indeed stream your station on the internet alongside the FM broadcast. As long as you have a computer (with a soundcard) that is connected to the internet in your studio that you can feed the audio signal into, then you are all good to go. 8) For...

    Edcast on Windows 7

Hi Richard, It is difficult for us to fault find this remotely. Its possible that running two instances of the same encoder could be conflicting but we do not think that is the issue here. We would think its likely a mistake has been made somewhere along the line. It may be worth you trying...

Understanding the 'Auto DJ' Bandwidth Usage on 'Pay As You Go' Server Accounts.

We sometimes get asked if with our Pay As You Go server accounts you have the AutoDJ feature running 24/7 will it use up any of the accounts bandwidth and result in further costs ? Running the AutoDJ feature itself will not use up any bandwidth at all. An accounts bandwidth will only get used...

    Playlists going haywire

Hi Pablo, Your hosting company could be correct in that if some files are corrupted, the server is perhaps skipping those files and only playing those that work, causing repeats. Although to be honest this is not something we have ever come across ourselves. Also, what do you have the...

We would try and help here but we don't have any javascript programmers on staff at the moment. Perhaps post a link to what you have done so far and maybe someone else can jump in and advise you.

The stream does not display any images here in either Winamp or VLC. Unfortunately I don't have a Linux system at hand nor am I familiar with Audacious. But one of our Support guys is an avid Linux user, so he might be more familiar. So will have to get back to you on that one. Are they all...

Hmmm, that's strange about the webpage if the pixels are 400x400? But in what exactly is this displaying the black blocks down the sides? Because it will look like this in some media players like VLC for example, but it should look fine in Winamp though. Do you have any other programs that you...

Great. We have actually noticed though that you do not host with us anyway, in which case we always recommend that you contact your own stream provider for any such issues. We are pleased that this is all working for you now all the same. :)

Live phone in using a VMX100USB mixer.

Hi rocketradio, Please could you clarify which model you have exactly? There is a few versions of what we presume is a Behringer VMX mixer? Your issue here is that if it is one of their DJ mixers, it will usually only have one mic input which you already have your mic going into. This...
