Yes of course you can use a microphone when streaming your station as long as your soundcard has a mic input (which we imagine it would as standard). What encoder / mix software are you using for your live streaming?

Hi Orizontas, Thanks for your feedback, it is appreciated. We didn't implement a volume control as we were not sure if it was used much. Here we all use the system volume to control it. However, we are now considering adding this back in as a few others have mentioned this all well.

Great, we are pleased that this is working for you now. The "Public" setting determines whether your stream is either public or private. If it is set to private then it will not appear in any public radio directory's.
