Hi there, I'm trying to find a way to add the audio stream to twitter. At the moment all I do is paste a link to my website where the player starts automatically, but wondering if there is a better way to do this?

Unfortunately not. You will only be able to post the streams link or your startpage / websites URL.

A dumb question, but what is the streams link?
