Cheshunt Radio is a Local Community focused Music, Local News and Events Radio Station. We are based in Cheshunt and have only recently started broadcasting ONLINE. We are planning to Broadcast on an DAB FM Frequency this year so that we can reach out to a wider audience.
We are seeking an individual to become our Local News and Events Manager. The role will involve gathering Local News and information of Local Events from members of the Public, Local Media and the Internet as well as talking to people from the TV, Film and Music industries.
There will be times you may need to cover a music event, be it a local band or a huge festival.
You would also need to book interviews for our presenters and schedule interviews, News and Event news into our radio shows. We will then require you to report on the events and to provide details of events to come which we can share with our listeners.
This will involve “Speaking on the Radio” either Live or Prerecorded.
So if you live or work in in or around Cheshunt and have an interest in research and broadcasting then this could be your big break. Age is not important, nor is experience but reliability, consistency and community focused attitude will certainly get you noticed.
